r0ckst4r Posted April 12, 2020 Report Posted April 12, 2020 This may seem like a silly question but I had read that that the landing light is inboard and the taxi light outboard on the wing (2 lights each wing). Mine seems to be reversed. I was getting ready to put in some LED lights but now I'm a little confused on if I should keep them in the order they are in or put them back where they should be (if they really are supposed to be that way). Is it supposed to be landing light inboard and taxi light outboard or the other way around? Quote
StevenL757 Posted April 12, 2020 Report Posted April 12, 2020 The other way around. Landing lights outboard. Taxi lights inboard. Not a silly question at all. Steve Quote
LANCECASPER Posted April 12, 2020 Report Posted April 12, 2020 On the Mooneys that use four wing mounted lights you want to get it right the first time and put in permanent lights (LED). Every time you reach up in there and work on getting those lights in or out you lose skin on your hands and forearms. 2 1 Quote
Awful_Charlie Posted April 13, 2020 Report Posted April 13, 2020 The small (about 1.5" dia) mirrors in each light bay are intended to put a bit of taxi light in front of each wing tip - makes it easy to figure out Quote
