M20F Tire Pressures

I searched The forum before starting the thread and couldn’t find anything.

I put a tube in the nose wheel tire today and there are no tire pressure decals like there were in my C.  I’m old and so is my memory, but I thought the C was 32 everywhere.  I went to the POH and it said 30 for the mains and 49 for the nosewheel, so that’s what I used, but won’t be flying it for 2 or 3 more days.  49 sounds crazy high, so I wanted to hear from you guys what you have experienced.  Once I nail them down I will decal inside the gear doors.

No idea about the F, but my K has 49 in the nose wheel.

MY 75 F has 49 PSI in the nose wheel tire and 30 PSI in the mains.

During my nearly 20 years of F model ownership, I did follow the 30 mains, and 49 for the nose.  I had no issues along the way with those numbers. There may be variables for other on this.

Thanks Doc!  That showed 30 for the C nosewheel.  My memory is not as bad as I thought!  I now know where my brain got the erroneous information.

I now have it covered.
