Joe Afonso Posted April 13, 2019 Report Posted April 13, 2019 Hi all, just got bad news from engine shop my case is cracked and unrepairable, it’s the O360-A1D narrow deck, parallel valve, any chance anyone has or knows of a serviceable case, preferably zyglo checked for cracks? please rely asap with any info, and thanks in advance

M20F Posted April 13, 2019 Report Posted April 13, 2019 One important thing to check when you get a new case. Some of them have a hole drilled for a fixed pitch prop. That hole needs to be plugged for constant speed. Ensure the hole is plugged before reassembly or you get to take it all back apart again, not that I would know.... PS Don’t take the sellers word on it, inspect it yourself.
