It’s a much smaller size grit.  I really just wanted to freshen up the color.  Chose this product on a whim.  It was sitting next to the flat black on the shelf.  Lol.

Call me paranoid but I covered the whole plane.  Dropped the flaps and put a towel in the groove to prevent any drips rolling off.

Nothing wrong with protecting your investment.... wingwalk paint is pretty thick, but I've seen regular paint hang in the air (travel) a long long way

I'd call that prudent, not paranoid.  I'd also imagine that wasn't just "a couple hours" of work :)
