Jim5895 Posted August 24, 2018 Report Posted August 24, 2018 My M20E landing gear retracting mechanism has a bracket (part # 560024-7) which has a 'wallowed out' (technical term) 1/4" hole. The 1/4" bolt through the hole is the pivot for a belcrank. The bracket attaches to the main spar with Huck lockbolts. Is there a bushing kit or procedure available for fixing the bracket? Quote
Don Heene Posted August 24, 2018 Report Posted August 24, 2018 I replaced my Gear down block last year it was a little hard to get into the new block, after using tri flow worked fine. Quote

I would expect that the "standard procedure" is to bore the hole out to the next standard 1/4"-ID bushing size (remaining material permitting) and then weld in a bushing. 1 Quote
Andy95W Posted August 25, 2018 Report Posted August 25, 2018 Call LASAR, they have PMA'ed oversized bushings for all the landing gear pivot points. If it isn't bushed, then they can weld/repair your part. Quote
