FAST FLIGHT OPTIONS LLC Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 You can always tell when a man has lost his soul to flying. The poor bastard is hopelessly committed to stopping whatever he is doing long enough to look up and make sure the aircraft purring overhead continues on course and does not suddenly fall out of the sky. It is also his bound duty to watch every aircraft within view take off and land. — Ernest K Gann, 'Fate is the Hunter.' Anyone else?
Ned Gravel Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 Oh yeah...... Know that feeling....

Bob Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 What kind of man would live where there is no danger? I don't believe in taking foolish chances. But nothing can be accomplished by not taking a chance at all. Quote from Lindbergh: Flight's Enigmatic Hero (2002) by Von Hardesty

Larrynoel Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Most people think the the propeller is there to fly the airplane. It's actually a giant fan to keep the pilot cool. Because you should see him sweat when it stop turning....
