kerry Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/elpages/klixoncircuit.php?clickkey=622327 This looks like the CB in my M20A. It's a 2amp that runs my TC. I diagnosed as bad. I'm somewhat surprised its $105 from aircraft spruce. Is this the same part that Mooney uses.
helitim Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 Call Faeth Aircraft with a part number. 916 368 1832. I bought 5 Klixons the other day for $5 each - used but work like new.
jamesm Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 I think I still have the original and pre-owned circuit breaker from a '67C. I convert over to Kloxons resetable type.
kerry Posted October 29, 2016 Author Report Posted October 29, 2016 I found a new 8 amp on ebay for $15. My TC paper work calls for a 2-8 amp circuit breaker. My service manual shows a 2 amp CB. Can anybody tell me if its legal to use a 8 amp if its logged per TC instructions.
Guest Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 I would check the wire gauge and then the AC43-13 to find the current limit for the wire before adding a larger circuit breaker. Clarence
M20F-1968 Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 I have some Klixon breakers, used but serviceable if you need them. John Breda
