MooneyBob Posted August 30, 2016 Report Posted August 30, 2016 I have posted in another topic my concern about my engine making metal. I will keep flying and change the oil maybe after 10 hours and check the oil and filter again. But I don't expect any miracle improvement. Where should I get my engine checked once I decide to pull the plug. I guess the cylinders have to be pulled and cam and lifters checked. Any recommendation? I will call Air mods too. Thanks Quote
Guest Posted August 30, 2016 Report Posted August 30, 2016 With how fast Jake Clemens got that IO360 fixed I'd be tempted to fly to Florida, a week of relaxing while he does your engine. Clarence Quote

bradp Posted August 31, 2016 Report Posted August 31, 2016 I've read about good experiences with Aero Engines of Winchestrt but fortunately (knock on wood) haven't had to knock on anyone's door quite yet. -Brad Quote
