Mooney Formation Flying Clinic at KHYI in April, 2016

Calling All Mooney Pilots;

 

There will be another Mooney Caravan Formation Flying Clinic at KHYI (San Marcos, TX) on Friday, April 22nd, to Sunday, April 24th.  REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON SUNDAY, APRIL 10th.  This allows us to get the required Safety Pilots available and plan the designated practice areas and routes. 

 

The main purpose of the Clinic is to train pilots to be able to safely fly in the Mooney Caravan to Oshkosh this July or in the future.  It is a great way to learn to fly your aircraft with more precision, control, and confidence.

 

The Tentative Schedule will be posted shortly.

Bucko, what time does the clinic start on Friday? I have an event on that Thursday evening (in Wichita) and am wondering if I can fly in on Friday in time.

Take the training!!!!!

This is what it will teach you to do.  The first is from 2013 and the second is from 2015.  Notice that practice and experience has allowed for closer spacing between the aircraft of our element from 2013 to 2015.  Bucko is the flight leader in the second video.
