Guitarmaster Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) Does anybody know the specs for the "dimming diode" in the gear indication system? The parts manual has it as a Sarkes Tarzian F4. I can't find any cross reference on it. Edited January 12, 2016 by Guitarmaster Quote
DanM20C Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 I have replaced several diodes in my dimmer circuit. All with basic 1 amp rectifier Diodes. Radio Shack has them for about $1.50 each. If you go to ebay or the likes you can get 50 for around the same price. Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) The Sarkes Tarzian F4 is a 280V 750ma silicon rectifier. Edited January 12, 2016 by N201MKTurbo Quote
Guitarmaster Posted January 12, 2016 Author Report Posted January 12, 2016 Thanks guys! I figured a 1A would be fine, but I wanted to check for sure. Quote
Hank Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) The Sarkes Tarzian F4 is a 280V 750ma silicon rectifier. Lord have mercy! What decade is that ad from??? I don't know when Canada dropped words from their phone numbers, but the U.S. has been using ZIP codes since the 60s . . . before my plane was built! Edited January 12, 2016 by Hank Quote
