Andy95W Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 For the '65, it should be the 35-204. It depends on how many rivets hold the pads to the plates. If you have 3 rivets, they are the 35-204, if you have 2 rivets, they are the 66-30. They changed in 1967, but some of the older planes were "upgraded". The next issue is that 35-204 is the Mooney part number. The "modern" part number for that is 66-111. Pretty sure the "modern" part number for the 66-30 is the 66-105. And you can't always go by the Aircraft Spruce catalog, particularly for the brake discs. 1

I have a '66 M20E that is pre 67xxxx serial number but mine were upgraded at some point as Andy said. I went off Aircraft Spruce website and got the wrong ones first time 'round.
