carl Posted April 3, 2015 Report Posted April 3, 2015 Which garmin would you say this is ? How about the fancy artificial horizon and the heading OBS under it . There are two vors indicators. Hmm is this any good? Can the garmin be used with ABS ?
Wakeup Posted April 3, 2015 Report Posted April 3, 2015 The bottom VOR looks like a KI-525a and it can be coupled with a GpS. Very expensive instrument if I'm correct. Troy
Marauder Posted April 3, 2015 Report Posted April 3, 2015 The AI is a Bendix King KI-256 with a DH input (yellow circle on the unit) from the radar altimeter (switch on the far right). The HSI is as Troy points out a KI-525A. The head to the left is either a KI-204 or KI-209 ILS capable head and the unit on its left is an ADF indicator. The GPS is a 430. carl Posted April 3, 2015 Author Report Posted April 3, 2015 This is a 1960(59) beech Bonanza coming up for government auction by the USMS. I need a partner,or partners who is an AP - IA to get this flyble again . 1
carl Posted April 3, 2015 Author Report Posted April 3, 2015 http://irggroup.com/ has it on there website
Will W Posted April 3, 2015 Report Posted April 3, 2015 Are you asking if the GPS can be used with ADS-B and it auto corrected to ABS? The only ABS acronym I can think of is American Bonanza Society. The GPS is not WAAS, it is only the basic 430 and no, it will not meet the WAAS requirements for ADS-B.
carl Posted April 3, 2015 Author Report Posted April 3, 2015 Yes that was the question . Thanks . I don't think it was auto correct , but I'll blame it anyway carl
