aviatoreb Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 hello all, I will be listing my 1985 Mooney Rocket for sale shortly once I get the spec sheet and pictures done for it. I plan to try and list it next week sometime on this forum first and see if it sells, after that I will turn it over to a broker. I have already purchased a bigger plane and must sell my Rocket. The Rocket was converted in 1999 and has a total time of 2419 hours on the airframe and 343 hours on the engine and propeller. Plane has always been hangared in a dry climate and shows well. I will post pictures and a complete spec sheet once my mechanic finishes the spec sheet, hopefully this week. The last annual was completed 8-2-2014 and IFR check was just done on 10-03-2014. There was a accident report on the Mooney back in 1985 when it was new with 39 hours on it, it looks like it got the prop and nose strut, the report showed it was a hard landing. Keep in mind that the plane was converted in 1999 with a new engine and prop. Plane was repaired and flown many years without any problems. I am the second owner of the plane. Thanks, Jack What's the bigger plane Jack? Quote
Jim Peace Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 Would you take a 1964 M20C in on a trade? I am at VNY too.....easy transaction...... Quote
Bravoman Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 I bought a Piper Saratoga I have had a Saratoga for the last 5 years and got my Bravo late last year. If you can justify owning two planes it is really the perfect combo. I use the toga anytime it is more than just me and the wife, which is frequently. Good luck with the sale of your plane. Quote
