Just wanted to check and see what fuel pressure readings people expect from an injected IO-360 in a M20.

In cruise, no boost pump, with this '65 M20E I'm looking at around 25 lbs/square inch.

When boost pump is turned on, pressure goes up a couple of lbs. Only use boost pump on takeoff and landing.

Plane flies fast, engine is smooth and responds correctly to engine control adjustments, just wanted to see if my readings are average.

Thx!

25 psi is fine. Low pressure alarm is 14 psi. (High is 30.)

FWIW, my electric pump maxes out @ 20 psi (when the engine is not running and the throttle and mixture are closed.).

Take a look at this picture. Bottom gauge. pe2yvy2e.jpg In flight, at cruise...

Hey B26, if you had a fancy engine analyser you could post a FP pic that looks like this: :)

Too much coffee Bob. You look jittery. :)

I do have an engine analyzer. Just no fuel pressure option on it. :(

How is he going to make that judgement?

How much is a needle width when he doesn't have a needle?

All this talk of digital engine monitors and magenta lines...

I'm just jealous...my non-WAAS GPS is monochrome...

Good night,
