ncdmtb Posted January 24, 2014 Report Posted January 24, 2014 I started using an iPad as my EFB. I tried to use iBooks (via cloud) to organize my PDF manuals. Either I am too stupid to figure it out, or it is not working as it should. (They are not showing up on my iPad, only on my Mac) What iPad App do others use to organize their electronic documentation/manuals (PDF files)? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk I use iBooks and keep others in the document section of ForeFlight. It sounds like you don't have the document share piece turn on for iCloud (on your iPad). Wistarmo Posted January 24, 2014 Report Posted January 24, 2014 GoodReader. I use it for everything. I have my POH, manuals for all my equipment, and my aircraft/engine logs all in there. 1 Quote
Marauder Posted January 24, 2014 Report Posted January 24, 2014 Make sure the "documents and data" are turned on for the iPad (iCoud under Settings") Sent using Tapatalk Quote
BorealOne Posted January 25, 2014 Report Posted January 25, 2014 Foreflight has docs capability. Makes sense to consolidate under one app, but I just use iBooks. Quote
Hector Posted January 25, 2014 Report Posted January 25, 2014 Foreflight works but I did not want to have everything there. I have manuals for every piece of equipment installed in my mooney. I going that Goodreader is really a great App for this Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD Quote
midlifeflyer Posted January 25, 2014 Report Posted January 25, 2014 Another GoodReader vote here. So much more capability for organizing and annotating than iBooks and other choices. Quote
jlunseth Posted January 25, 2014 Report Posted January 25, 2014 I use Foreflight and organize the documents by category. My .pdf checklist is in "Flight Doc." I have a manual for house insulation somewhere in one of the categories. Foreflight's document organization capabilities are basic, but pretty good. Quote
