I recently pulled the trigger on an Acclaim, so I'm selling the bird that my family so lovingly knows as "Juliet". She kept my little ones safe for about 8 years, and we are sad to see her go. Full quality pictures here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0ByTozTHXhY52cENxUUotVDhOdFU Controller listing: http://www.controller.com/listings/aircraft/for-sale/1435525/1994-mooney-m20j-mse Also, I'm looking for a partner in the Austin or surrounding areas for the Acclaim. If you're interested, give me a shout.

Sorry for hijacking another thread yesterday and posting some numbers off the top of my head which were clearly not accurate. I downloaded data from my engine monitor today and looked at the data carefully again. This was a a flight from Livermore to Sacramento Exec (it was IMC part of the way, so I wasn't paying focussed on the monitor as much). But I did run LOP and ROP on the onward and return journey respectively. For KLVK to KSAC MAP: 22.7", RPM: 2458, FF: 8.3, OILT: 182, CHT: 303-318, EGT: 1455-1505 (~10 deg LOP), HP: 62%, ALT: 5000, SPD(GS): 148KTS For KSAC to KLVK MAP: 25.5", RPM: 2488, FF: 11.5, OILT: 188, CHT: 344-368, EGT: 1460-1504 (~25 deg ROP), HP: 76%, ALT: 4000, SPD(GS): 152KTS It seems I could burn another 1 gph either LOP or ROP, bump up the RPM another 50 or so and gain a few more knots. Would like to get some data points before I start thinking of some easy mods to get boost the speed. Thanks.

Hey guys just wondering your thoughts on cleaning the floor pan of old glue and almost 40 years of goop on my 1978 Mooney M20J. I'm looking for a good cleaning product or products that will remove this stuff and not harm the aluminum? I was thinking of painting or maybe putting a wing walk type compound on the edges that are exposed from under the carpet. Have any of you guys cleaned this area up and what seems to work. It just looks rough. Thank you in advance for your replies.

This is a Go Pro video from a windshield mounted camera and sped up as we descended through the clouds into Refugio, Texas. If you want to see some pictures of the terrain around the area go to Facebook and search for the El Corazon Ranch, Refugio, Texas. http://youtu.be/IOVJee2mmfA
