  1. 1 over fixed my oil leak, the through bolts seem to have a thick coating of cad on them. If you want your std. Bolts platted with cad, send them to me.
  2. I'm not sure how the TC or STC reads, does it name the 500 series McCauley only? Because there are a few Hartzells, that go on a RAM conversion.....
  3. McCauley C515 or C505
  4. That is true when talking about the F7282 blade in the C3YR......But the F7666A blade in the C2YK is a different story. If the propeller they are installed in is taken care of properly, they will last many overhauls. Hartzell Manuel 133C will give you the new Dems vs min Dems. Whatever propshop says your blades are scrap after 3 overhauls, with just normal wear an tear, ask them to see the proof. I know plenty of people out there that are ready to sell you blade before your propeller is even disassembled.... I'm not trying to sound like a sour apple, but its true. What scraps the 7666 blade, an any other Y shank blade for that matter, is a crack in the bearing shelf on the blade. Or the pitch change knob being worn out.
  5. Who says you can overhaul a prop 3 times?.....
  6. Your propeller picture above is of a "B" hub...... Are you selling to get something different?
  7. What's the serial number of your prop?
  8. It is for balance. It appears that someone installed the tail on backwards, which gives it a slight forward CG. I have been told it is to pack depleted uranium In to help with the CG issues.......
  9. Customers have put me off till wensday in Tulsa. Price is gonna be $225 a prop now, due to the great turn of Mooney nuts.....Anyone with questions call 870-208-5198
  10. .032 safety wire ......... Couldn't resist
  11. I will be in Tulsa(KRVS) @ 10am Tuesday morning. Have 3 planes to do, need some more
  12. Looks like the weather is going to put it off till Tuesday.
  13. That's a long trip, but I do fly the perfect cross country aircraft. I would be more than happy to try an put something like that together. Is it a large flyin as far as aircraft? There is going to be a Aircoupe flyin at my home field in June @ 7m2. We will be doing balances an propeller services half prices that weekend. Guess I will see how we'll it will work then.
  14. I must agree, very informative. Lookin at those old pics make me wish I was around back then, aviation was different, there were muscle cars, leaded gas, an nobody was screaming about going green...
  15. Takes about a half hr to rig your plane up an down. Could take as long as an hr most are about 20 min to balance. The cost is $275. If I can get at least a total of five or more props I will do them for $200 a prop. I will balance multi-engines an turbines as well.
  16. Sorry about that, guess I'm not up to speed on the mooney models..... I knew there was one with the o-320 though...
  17. Hello I will be in Tulsa at Riverside Jet center at Jones Jr. Airport(KRVS)on monday or tuesday,18th an 19th(weather permitting)doing dynamic balances with a Chadwick 8350. The more planes I can balance in a day the cheaper I can do it. The Balance will be documented an you will get a Logbook entry from our repair station. I will be more than happy to help answer any prop questions you may have while I'm there as well. Thanks...Cody
  18. Wonder how many M20A are out there flying?........ There are no other props that fit that plane, cause of the crank flange... Can find one that fits an do a 337, that's not cool at all.

  20. F7666A-2 is the only "old" blade for a mooney in a 2 blade configuration. Hartzell that is
  21. That's pretty sharp.......looks like something you would see in a bravo or acclaim..... That's an awesome setup
  22. Took a trip yesterday to the avionics shop. An the vibration was gone. I kept the old vintage F in a climb till nearly 11k ft. Tryin to get it to show its self. Nothing. I would like tot be able to say what fixed it, but I can't. I can say that after putting the large belly skin on right, an secure. Takin the slop out of the front left gear door linkage, an getting the exhaust pipe off of the cowl flap that the vibration is no longer. I have a few more little bugs to work out on this plane, an I think it will be worry free, an rock solid. Thanks mooniacs.
  23. Well, she is up on jacks. The large belly skin was really loose, an installed wrong. It was lapped over the 1 in front if it. While it was off, I lubbed all the Little Ujoints on the trim shaft. I noticed the chain that comes from the wheel below the floor board has some slop in it. Is that normal, An the left gear door on the front has some wobble to it. Everything closes nicely though. Will post hack as I find more sqwaks
  24. Yes the trim wheel, an it does have a little bit of play in it. And yes the climb speed was different at the reduced RPM
