Both fuel tanks appear to be fine, I did not notice any major leaks over the years. The plane is priced considerably under vRef, with most of the major maintenance items done in last 4 years (engine, avionics, etc) so even if a fuel tanks needed reseal that's something that could be agreed on upon purchase agreement...

  12. i have a used KT74 transponder complete with tray and connector that I'm removing from my Mooney. The unit was purchased new by me about a year ago. New price on the web is around 3000.00 including the tray which you need if you're going to hook it up to a WAAS GPS position source for 2020 compliance. All reasonable offers will be considered and I'll pay for UPS ground shipping to the contiguous 48. The unit is currently installed in my aircraft and will be removed in the next 30 days. 14. I'd like to get some input from any list members who have taken their M20C up to 11-15k for longer cross countries in order to determine what TAS I could expect. Thanks in advance for your help. Mitch Berger M20C N6503U

  18. I'm seeking a set of front headrests to match seat frames from a 1967 M20E or similar. I'm re upholstering the seats and the seat backs have to posts to receive the headrests already. Just need them for the frames so I'm not concerned with the condition of the upholstery. Thanks!!!

  21. Thx for the post Bennett! How fast does your true out at? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Yes 14,000 is doable in C for those occasions when u would like to get out of the wx. The K does offer more options. Take for instance tomorrow. I'll b flying my C from KAPF-KHRJ-KHVN. with nice tailwinds it'll be about 6.5 hours with fuel stop at 9500. With a stock K at 15500 at economy cruise it'll be s little over 5 hours nonstop with about the same total fuel burn. For jollies reverse the route and although it's not nonstop the K at say 10500 will reach the destination in significantly less time on much less fuel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
