  6. Hello fellow mooniacs.... Ive "inherited" some family owned property in edmonton, ky. Its close to the beautiful dale hollow lake which has a rather neat background, glasgow, ky and bowling green, ky home of the corvette plant. There are 16 homebuildable lots, water, power, phone, cable or 15ac total. If you or know someone who is interested pass the word along. you can email me at philip.neeper@yahoo.com, the only pic i have at this time is the plat but i will have more in a day or so. thanks yall

  8. Quote: OR75 what you can use is stated in the service manual and parts manual. you don't want to use anything else that would stay stuck in the gear wells. Anyway, for what reason would you want to use anything else ?
  9. I was mainly curious if i could use a 15.00-6-6 tire in place of my 6-6-6 tire
  10. helle fellow mooney owners. I know this is a relatively stupid question, however i could use the knowledge. When ordering aircraft tires how is the tire size broken down. For example my aircraft comes with 6-6-6 main gear tires. I know the last is 6 is the ply of the tire. But I see tires that are 15.00-6-6. would those fit on my C model? thanks guys and gals
  11. if i had extra cash i would jump on one

  15. i bought my mooney 78 ranger....bought it after sitting for 14 years and has 500 hrs past tbo.. im still working on her but my engine is still in good condition.
  16. on my 78 C, i have the master switch on and i can move the tab located on left wing and mine activates
  17. Quote: jetdriven nothing bettr than hangaring it with the caps off for a month. But second best, water settles out of avgas. Brake cylinders get heavy pitting in the bores. If re-o-ringing doesnt fix, then you may need a new cleveland caliper. Ours has one replaced ten years ago and the originial 77 one on the left is pitted pretty bad.
  18. i was really hoping in to getting the tanks dry before i did all that sumping. so you think thats the easyist and best way? i rebuilt the brakes once already.
  19. getting closer and closer for her to be done. Im trying to get down to fl and put fuel in her wings... they were empty and i know i had water in there to... so im deff sumping them out... i need new fuel sumps anyways. any recommendations for completly drying her out before i spend $325.00 in fuel? other than that... right brake rebuild... having a heck of a time with brake holding fluid and pressure.... seeps from right puck. other than that.. completed my BFR last sunday in a light sport aircraft... boy what a flight. Deff fun!!! re did my insurance for 1100.00 so far looking good. glad to be a part of mooneyspace and reading and picking your minds.... once i get her to her new home of midcoast regional airport.. you better bet practice practice practice. thanks guys and gals
  20. Quote: danb35 So is it "I don't have the manual handy", or "I don't have a manual"? You're saying the former, but repeating it suggests that the latter is closer to the truth. Both the fuel drains and the brakes are standard parts, nothing Mooney-specific there.
  21. i dont have a manual handy, im new to the mooney world.. just restoring an abonded mooney.
  22. im looking for fuel sumps for both wings and a set of brake calipers... mainly the right. any help or leads would be great if you mooniacs had some laying around.... i dont have my parts manual lying around.. 78 mooney m20c Ranger. Any help would be great... thanks guys and gals !
  23. how can they make an app for mooneyspace
  24. Quote: jetdriven That one has been covered. Its also in Craigslist in Dallas, Phoenix, and elsewhere. Its a scam.
