Good point....and with my experimental buddies, any accident that isn't fatal has a MUCH lower chance of being reported to the FAA or NTSB.

Good question. I replaced them many years ago and it was a pain in the butt. Like many repairs on a Mooney, long tin arms are a plus. Good luck.
