  13. Ground. Not on the stratus. Internet only… never had an issue before. Happens on all 3 of my devices… only doing this when radar is selected.. -Don

  15. Replacement StormScope came in and I was able to test it. Working great AND the backlight works great. Once she is back from Maxwells, I’ll rnr the old one… simple and easy to remove thankfully… -Don

  17. I guess it depends on how big the leak is and what condition the current sealer is. The SMM (Service Maintenance Manual) shows the various types of leaks. If it’s a big leak, reseal may be required. For me, the leaks are not huge so patch makes sense. For me, I can do a lot of patches vs full reseal cost. Since you’re painting, it may make sense. May be worth to get a patch to see if the sealant is good or if it is recommended to reseal. Mine was resealed in the 80’s and so far, the owners who did patches, the sealant is doing well… -Don

  21. She’s at Maxwells for the right tank patch. I have a replacement WX-900 on the way. Hope to get 3 years out of the WX-900 as I really want to get the GFC-500 first. Fingers crossed on all of this… -Don
  22. Steel tube from Lowe’s, small jack should do in a pinch - maybe a jack-stand as backup support. Aircraft spruce in Ft. Worth by Meachum airport can do will call if things are in stock. Not sure if they are open today but Monday they could have it. Aer-o Specialist (Charles) is a great guy. Good shop there @ McKinney… -Don
  23. I’ve carried 3 adults in mine im 5’10 260 cfi is 5’8’ 180 his son is also 5’8" 160 typical cruise @ key number 46 (2400 rpm 22 map) ~146 - 148 knots true @ 7000 - I have all the speed mods so it can be done… -Don
