  1. I’m interested but I’m about a month out from pulling the trigger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I’m hoping, praying, crossing my fingers and toes, tossing salt over my shoulder…. Anything I can think of. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] This F is the cleanest one I’ve found. Been looking since December. Owner said he’d decide after he gets back from OshKosh. [emoji1695] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Oh it’s not going to affect my decision to buy. I already told the owner I want to buy it. He’s taking it to OshKosh and said he’ll call me after he gets back to let me know if he decides 100% to sell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Looking at and trying to buy a ‘67 M20F. It feels like “The One”. However, what’s the deal with the twisted wing? What was the theory behind it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I believe this is correct. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I had about 600 hours, no Mooney time to speak of (1.5 hours) and no IFR. From what I’ve seen, the rates won’t come down until you have 100hrs in retract/Mooney. What I’ve seen reported is the rate would come down to 1600 - 1800 once 100hrs Mooney time has been achieved. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yep. Called them and got no answer. I’ll try again today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah that’s fine. I plan on replacing it anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I got quotes a few months back and the best I could get was $3,400/year. No IFR, No retract time. Hardy Aviation Insurance. I’ve used them for years and have always been pleased. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. There's a 1970 M20F Exec listed on TAP that's been listed and updated several times over the last couple months. It's N9430V. I'd like to talk to the owner about buying it. I've emailed via TAP several times but no reply. There is no phone number listed on the ad either. So I hope it's ok to ask about it here on this forum. Anybody in this group own or know the owner of N9430V?
  11. It’s gorgeous! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. For some reason I was thinking Tyler was much closer. You’re 100% right, being far from a plane would be very inhibitive to flying often. I was on a wait list for 1.5 years to get the hangar at Durant and I can’t let it go yet. It was worth the shot though! Best of luck in your search! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Durant, Ok to far north? I really want a Mooney but would prefer to partner in one first. Have a hangar already. I’ve flown since 1998, have about 625 hrs, scheduled for my IFR ticket this month. Have owned two other planes but am in the market for my next. My preferred plane will be excellent paint/interior, IFR/WAAS GPS, ADSB IN/OUT, GFC500 AP. Would love to chat and see what we could work out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. If I get to buy the F I’m looking at, I’ll certainly be posting many pictures. [emoji16][emoji16] I should be getting to check it out next week. Hopefully I can make a deal. It’s a sweet looking bird in the pics I’ve seen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. This is what I’m hoping. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Owner says it’s showing signs of seepage. Not really a leak, he says. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I’m most likely going to make an offer on an F next week. Gorgeous bird. But the tanks haven’t been resealed in quite a long time if ever. They have been patched. If they were to require a full reseal, who in Texas or Arkansas would you recommend? How much would it cost? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Looking at an F model next week. 3 blade MT propeller was installed in 2019. What’s the deal with them? Any benefits? Any real negatives? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. This was one of the reasons I sold mine. Grumman supposedly fixed the debonding issues early on but a couple years ago there was an incident where one of the planes had a tail surface that debonded in flight. Lucky he did crash and die. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I had a buddy do the 3” round install in his Cardinal. This was when it was still TruTrak. He was very proud of it, and I don’t blame him. It was a very nice and seemed functional autopilot. However, it seemed very cheaply made. He had it for less than 2 weeks and the buttons were already loose. I could see them vibrating during flight. It was always squawking about something so he was continuously making adjustments. I’m not saying G would be any better but from the reports I’m hearing, the extra $1300 is most likely worth it. Just my thoughts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I was honestly just making a joke…. Hope you get to own the Tiger soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. If I still had my Tiger, I’d offer to trade you straight over. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Oooohhh that makes sense. Tnx Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. April Fools was a few days ago. Are you serious? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I think he is referring to my request comparing the Pre-J models to the Tiger as not a "perfect match". But, I'd be happy to hear your experience once you get back from SnF!
