I purchased a '77 J. The heading controls on the center console are angled up. Is this installation correct or is it normally flat? Also I'm looking for a parts manual for a "77 J. Does anyone have one?

I spoke to a few Mooney AP's about a gear up landing. He thinks it should not be an issue. It's been a while, a decent repair facility did the repair. Do we think a collapse is worst than a gear up landing?

Does anyone know this aircraft? N201AL I see there was a gear collapse and a few other items that went wrong. Just running the N# on google it doesn't show much! Please if anyone knows anything about this aircraft, good or bad, please respond. Thanks,

Yea I read some info on this subject in Mooney Space, on climb out you should burn 1 gal per cylinder per hour than cruise. I was thinking someone may hay did the actual testing and came up with a decent measurement.

You guys with the io-360 200hp J models. Does your climb fuel burn and decent fuel burn average close to cruise burn?

The U.S. rotary rig count from Baker Hughes was unchanged at 404 for the week of May 27, 2016. It is 471 rigs (53.8%) lower than last year. Rig count is remains at the lowest level since Baker Hughes started counting rigs in 1949. It is likely the lowest back to around 1860 or 1900 if only rotary drilling rigs are counted.

I can only talk about what I see, but all these oil field workers along with all the vendors that were associated with are unemployed. Things are tough in the south.

Any one have any contact or association with N201NZ? It's for sale again, I need see it sat for a while. But the guy that has it now says he flies it weekly. Tail number must be blocked, don't see no new flights.
