Yes it will! I had it happen to me. The Horn Pin broke. We could not see a crack in the Rudder Control Tube. This is what happens. Most of the time the plane goes straight left when landing. If you don't catch it before you take off.

Ok I can't find that small of an oil/heater cooler core. Can you let me know where yours come from?

The fan that you used is there a part number for that?

Made a 3 hour flight up to Hollister Mo. on Friday. Plenty flooding on the Mississippi River going up. Didn't take to many photos but here are a few Mooney's on the ramp. Hope they are Mooney Spacers!

So my FBO repaired my horn on the truss. I contacted and sent photos to the Baytown Airport manager. I also spoke to Don Maxwell. Over turning was the only thing that could have caused this. This morning I was refunded the complete amount it cost to repair. Still some good people in this country. Can't say enough about how much this means to GA!! Thanks Charles Danley

I spoke to Don Maxwell and ordered the parts from Dan at Lazar.

So I flew it to Baytown Tx. Sunday. I flew it there landed and parked where I was told. It turned just fine without the breaks. I then told the lineman the amount of fuel per tank. We went watch the drag races. We drive back and load up. We get back to my home air port. Landed it ok then the plane takes off to the left. I was straight when my rear wheels landed. When the front wheel landed it went left. I get it back to the FBO. Just looking around I see the horn flapping around. The only thing we could come up with was the lineman moved it to put fuel and parked in a different place. He over turned the wheel. Annual done last November all that was inspected.

It is the newer style Truss. Only horn t shaft was damaged.

I'll look again tomorrow but I didn't see any dents.

Does anyone know if this part can break from over turning front wheel with towing vehicle? This mounts on top the truss and connects to the pedals.

We took a short flight to the Baytown, Tx. area today. Watch a little drag races. Weather in Houma, La. was IFR conditions. Cleared as the day went on. On the way home I took a few photo.

Did you get a rental car or the FBO was able to help you out with a car?

Any MS fly out of KHPY or 54T? Thinking of flying into the area for the drag races in a few weekends.

New Orleans has no where near the traffic as ATL.

Not sure whats going on in your area, but our Bravo area KMSY. No problem at all to fly through. We also have a Delta area in that Bravo area to land at. I think it's a Delta.

I just spoke to a local tower guy, he is only VFR like me. He says he is not sure why they still have VFR Flight plans that are controller by flight services. Your on your own except for the time frame that you filed to get where you going. If you don't make it there on time they are looking for you. Which is a good thing. With Flight Following, your on radar at all times and you can cancel while in the air with ATC when your in your landing area.

Can a vfr flight plan, that is filed with foreflight, be opened by a tower?

I'm always ready to go to Vegas. It looks like you have a pretty long leg left to get home.

So when I tried to pump up the right brake there was nothing. Pedal goes all the way to the stop. So I opened the bleed valve. Brake fluid dripped out. It was a little darker than normal. Closed bleed off tried to pump brakes, nothing. My A&P pushed some fluid from caliper up. I was watching reservoir and the air bubble came out. Full break peddle, no more turning left! Thanks Everyone for Ya'll help!!

Yea the '13 annual it says the fluid was replaced and bled.

I'll try to flush and bleed this week.

I've not tried to pump them, I'll try that. Then bleed them. Brake fluid looks good.
