  1. This is being discussed in G100UL thread #3 over here https://mooneyspace.com/topic/50230-based-on-the-g100ul-fuel-leak-thread-whats-your-position/
  2. I don’t think it’s possible to do this in Invision, but I’m not sure. It would be great to merge the three active G100UL threads into one megathread - it’s the same topic, with mostly the same contributors, but it’s getting a little bit hard to follow.
  3. Just ignore me then Carry on …
  4. Just to be obnoxiously pedantic, if you mean the gross weight increase for the J model Mooney, that’s not an STC. It’s part of the original type certificate for the relevant serial numbers.
  5. Someone was looking for one a while back. You might PM to see if successful https://mooneyspace.com/topic/21335-m22-mustang/page/2/#findComment-439991 As mentioned in that thread, esso seems to have one for purchase.
  6. I used Kelly for my D3000 IRAN, and I’ve had zero problems. Cost was a bit less than $3k for the IRAN, which seemed very high to me, but I’ve been happy with the result. That being said, I’m probably going to use flyguydon next time around. He’s highly recommended on the Piper Forum and seems to have a lot of experience with the Bendix dual mag.
  7. The Swift STC costs money. They do have some kind of lifetime thing where you get every new fuel STC that comes out for just the one price, but still.
  8. Yes - when you post a new topic, just change the type to “Poll” …
  9. I use Garmin Pilot on my tablet, but frequently use fltplan.com for desktop planning. Garmin Pilot is integrated with fltplan.com, so you can push a flight plan from GP to your GNS. But as you said, that would require a FlightStream 210. I don’t think there is any way to push a flight plan with FltPlan Go, and as mentioned the flash card route is probably not practical even if it is technically possible.
  10. Dunno. The cross-site scripting thing would only be for kx-165.com, and I doubt that's it. Let's Encrypt is a pretty common CA these days, so I wouldn't expect current security software to have any problem with that certificate. SSL Labs seems to think it's okay.. https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=kx-155.com&hideResults=on&latest .. so it's probably something local to @Fly Boomer's machine
  11. Yeah, he's not redirecting - just serving the same WordPress site from both domains. But there's a lot of cross-site objects loaded from kx-155.com if you go to kx-165.com, which might be causing your security software to panic.
  12. Both domains are on the cert. It's pretty strange to have a wildcard in the SAN field, but anyway - they're both there.
  13. I would have zero concern with a configuration that is specifically detailed in the flight manual and performed per the manual.
  14. It looks like the cert common name is kx-165.com and it’s a valid cert from Let’s Encrypt. There may be a SAN entry for kx-155.com that only has the ‘www’ subdomain or something idk
  15. Yeah, I have no idea. I just saw that kx155.com was in the footer of the site mentioned above. I have no personal experience with any of them.
  16. You might dual-post this suggestion over on the suggestions forum. I don’t think there is a MS moderator per se, but Craig will see the suggestion there. https://mooneyspace.com/forum/9-bug-reports-suggestions/
  17. Looks like OP fixed this with an edit
  18. I think it’s the same guy. They have kx155.com listed in the footer.
  19. Is there soft ground that you could put stakes in? There are some temporary tie down options like this: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/pspages/flyties.php I don’t think I would want to park my plane outside for a year with no tie downs. Make sure your insurance is paid up and hull value selected appropriately.
  20. Yep. He’s gotten enough airplay on the forums this week that I’m sure he’ll surface somewhere. I really wish he would have yanked the mixture after touchdown just to get the prop stopped, but he was deeply into “resignation” at that point and just riding it out. Obviously lots of mistakes here, but I’m sure each of us is glad that our worst aviation moment isn’t on YouTube
  21. +1 for Bob Kromer’s recommendations. I trust him more than I trust most. From an old MAPALog:
  22. For whatever it’s worth, I use a Hornet heater from these guys: https://www.aircraftheaters.com/
  23. Link back to the original
  24. The simplest solution I've seen is to throw a blanket over the cowl and put a 100w incandescent light bulb up the cowl flap. The bulb puts out quite a lot of heat, but probably less dangerous than a hair dryer (I'm thinking the heating element of the hair dryer is probably too hot to have near combustible stuff in an enclosed area).
  25. You should probably connect directly with @mooniac58
