Marauder Posted September 2, 2013 Report Posted September 2, 2013 Can you post a picture of your front mount? That is the one that will get me into the hangar Quote
rainman Posted September 3, 2013 Report Posted September 3, 2013 This is the front mount. Hope this helps. A distant view of the whole thing is in my gallery but I don't know how to show it here. Ray Quote
rainman Posted September 3, 2013 Report Posted September 3, 2013 O.K. So I don't know too much about photography, but I think this will give you the distant view of the tow-mower set-up. Hope this helps. Ray Quote
Marauder Posted September 3, 2013 Report Posted September 3, 2013 Thank you! (My back thanks you as well). I think I have everything I need to put the project together. Will post some pictures when I have it done. Thanks again. Quote

toomanyswitches Posted July 25, 2014 Report Posted July 25, 2014 Hi guys As I am new to mooneys and read this thread I was wondering if you cold give me some expert advice. I am winching my mooney into my hangar a per picture below. Can any damage be done with the sling I have hooked around the nose gear in the position on the pic? This is where the tow bar hooks anyway? Thanks Quote

Thanks at first I thought you meant you were towing it in backwards but pulling from the nose..... now that would not be a good thing but what your doing is fine Brian Quote

This is where the tow bar hooks anyway? Thanks I also can not imagine much of a problem towing forward using the tow bar hole... except, are you using rope or steel cable? In the photo it sort of looks like that cotton rope with a red stripe on it. The only thing that I would worry about is if it is rope and the rope breaks, you might have one heck of a runaway problem. I would hate to see your tail damaged or something worse. Dave Quote
