My contributions on the books side are: The Al Mooney Story - A MUST READ. I finished it feeling like the luckiest person on earth for the priviledge of flying my M20J and a deep appreciation for the Mooney brothers' path. Those Remarkable Mooneys - A detailed account of the evolution of the Mooney line and the company behind it. Happy to pass these along to anyone who promises to pass them along when they finish reading them. Quote

She isn't the most gorgeous or the fastest, but I'm loving her non the less. I'd like to read each of those books. Are you selling or passing them along to share? ErickR Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Yep, First all metal Mooney! This is my first airplane and I must say I am glad I went with a mooney. My last flight I averaged 132 knts between east and west bound legs, while getting around 8 gph. I was flying between 10,500 and 12,000. I must admit, although she is fun and a great first plane I'm already guilty of looking and dreaming of much newer and faster mooneys. I'll be happy to repost them when I'm done reading, Thanks!!!
