Want To Purchase an M20

My purchase of an M20C fell through when I had the airplane taken to Don Maxwell and he discovered an unapproved repair to a wing spar unknown to the seller who has proved to be a total gentleman about dealing with the situation.  That being said, I cannot say enough good things about Don Maxwell, which comes as no surprize to this forum where i learned about Don to start with.

 

All of that being said, now I need to find a Mooney M20 that I can afford.  Anybody know of a good buy out there?

We found ours on Controller and had Don do the pre-buy. Hope you find yours soon.

I had scheduled a prepurchase on a plane that got "sold" out from under me. The MSC I had scheduled the prebuy with knew the owner of my plane was planning on selling and had not advertised it. I bought it. The original plane ended up not getting sold because the quick purchaser could not get financing.

I don't know of particular aircraft for sale, but it would probably help if you were to quantify what you could afford.
