I recently completed my first airplane pilot logbook. I've also on my second logbook for gliders as well. How many logbooks have you gone through? Do you still keep paper or just online?

Just finished my first pilot logbook at the end of last year. Replaced it with the Sporty's professional version that I suspect I may never fill, at the going rate anyway, but I'll have fun trying. I also complete all log entries on Logshare (http://www.logshare.com) to help track currency and because it makes it easier to see totals and report on fun things.

I have six more pages to go in my original Gleim kit logbook. Now that I've finished my Instrument training [when a page would run about two weeks], they seem to be averaging 6 weeks in the summer and 3 months in the winter. So I've got the rest of this year to go . . .

Switched to electronic logbooks years ago after filling two paper ones. I use LogTen Pro now and love it.

I switched to an electronic log in the DOS days. But I still maintain a paper log for endorsements and with the barest entries until I'm satisfied with an eLog's acceptability are a full replacement.

I too just finished my first one and started the second.  I also keep an electronic copy with a custom EXCEL spreadsheet that matches the fields on the paper logs.  Helps with the numbers going from page to page.
