Like asking the neighbor with a new car how he likes it...said no one ever, "It's a piece of crap! I'd take it back if it hadn't depreciated 50% when I drove it off the lot" 1
Jackk Posted July 29 Report Posted July 29 There was a talk on a back country site about the new composite over wood type props take more damage and can handle less damage while being able to be fixed and flown out. mooney isn’t doing hard core back country, but still For the huge price point, unless I had reverse I could use on rollout, and was doing ops where I’d need this, I don’t see the benefit of many of these new props in a price V performance standpoint.

jetdriven Posted July 29 Report Posted July 29 https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1AoGS6YiEx/?mibextid=wwXIfr it’s like 30 seconds of no information….it says “all around a better performance” and “a smoother ride” and “don’t chase horsepower chase a better propeller”. But if you distill that down, what does it say.
jetdriven Posted July 29 Report Posted July 29 Here is some RV guys talking about a very substantially similar prop in comparison to the blended airfoil metal prop that Hartzell sells. https://vansairforce.net/threads/new-hartzell-props.218911/
