Gentlemen,

I have a 75 F  s/n 22/1246 and need 2 fuel senders for the rh Wing.

The manual states the original sender P/n as inboard 610168-001 and outboard as 610177-001

The part numbers that were installed were

Fuel Sender PN#7740-00118/610642-001

Fuel Sender PN# 7740-00117/610243-001

I am working with Air parts of Loch Haven to find some replacements as the  original units are BER

can anyone verify the part numbers for the rh wing and offer a possible replacement or source?

I cant afford CIES at the moment so I must try to find used cores or used working senders.

I am going to start the process and any info would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Mooney allows upgrade from the F senders to the J model senders.  I'll find the info and post.  I also have four senders I just removed from my airplane (3 original F model and 1 J model).  The J model sender appears to be working fine (610243-1).  It could be overhauled by Air Parts.  John Breda (here on MS) used to have a few more J model units available.

This is what Mooney told me for my '67F:

1.       Original 610161 LH Outboard is now 610243-003 (same as the M20J)

2.        Original 610160 RH Outboard is now 610243-001 (same as the M20J)

3.       Original 610168-001 both inboard is now 610242-001 (same as the M20J)

can you seend me the part numbers? how much would you need for them?

Searching through my emails, it looks like Air Parts wanted $383 each overhauled in 2024 with a $200 core charge.  I think new they were twice that.  I paid $300 each for three overhauled gages from someone on MS.  I was going to keep it as a spare but if you need it, I'll send you 610243-1 for $150.  I bench checked it and it works but I'd have it overhauled to be certain.

I have 2 senders, Part No. 610242-1.  Both have been rebuilt by Airparts of Lockhaven with paperwork for return to service.  I also have one as removed.

$250 each for the rebuilt on. $100 for the as removed of B/O fir that one.

These are the last of the senders I have.  They are legal to put in an F.  The only other senders I would use are the CIES senders (which I now have) but you also need a digital system which you likely do not have.  I would just take all 3,  The prices have gone crazy.  You will then have an extra to readily install and an extra to rebuild.
