Txgroup Posted May 11, 2012 Report Posted May 11, 2012 I was curious if anyone knew the where abouts of A 1964 M20e N6907U. My father purchased this plane in 1964 as a factory demonstrator and flew it till the early 70s. I put about 200 hours of my first 250 hours on this plane. If the owner is on this list, pm me and I can send you a photo bob stephens Sedona, az b-kool.net Quote
Hank Posted May 11, 2012 Report Posted May 11, 2012 Have you tried the FAA website? If nothing else, google the N number, it should bring up the owner's name and address. Unless someone changed the number between then and now. Just took my own advice: N6907 is now a 2-place experimental Searey [should that be "Sea Ray"?] registered in Birmingham, AL. It was also a C-47A, no dates given, and a DC-3 that was deregistered in April 1989. Good luck finding your former Mooney! Oops--"N6907U" is a whole different plane! 1964 Mooney M20-E in Snohomish, WA. It looks good, and he looks happy. Like my C, it now sports a 3-blade prop. There are interesting photos of the plane several feet off the ground with no engine, too, so it has been restored. Good for him! Quote
Txgroup Posted May 11, 2012 Author Report Posted May 11, 2012 It shows registered to an individual in Washington. Thanks bob Quote
