Looking for pre buy inspection shop near Dalton, GA.

I am interested in a M20J and would like to look into a pre buy inspection around Dalton, GA.  I would go with Cole but they did all the annuals for the past 10+ years. Does anyone have a lead? Thanks!

If I bought an airplane that's been maintained by well known shop I'd either take it as is, let that shop do another annual, or fly it to another shop that is well known. The odds of a random local guy finding something else are low. I bought an airplane from that area this spring and the only well known shop I found was Cole. Epps no longer does that kind of work. If you are looking for any independent mechanic, I can look at who used to maintain mine.

If its N201BV, he has it apart currently for annual.  I spoke to him about it yesterday.  He said come look at it while its apart and save paying for a prebuy.  Sounds like a good plane.

There are no other choices close buy that know what they are doing.   Your other choices are Minnesota ,Maryland, North Carolina, Texas or California.

I agree, Joey is top notch.  
 

If you want an unassociated opinion up you might try Cecil Wilson, Aerocare, in Carrollton Ga (CTJ).  He is a one man shop and he owns a Mooney.  He does a good bit of work for me. He is fair and honest and a good mechanic.  Lee
