Electric trim switch malfunction?

Hi all. 
Anyone had any experience with electric trim switch tripping to the off position on its own? This just started last flight. Seems to prevent the autopilot (KFC 200) from staying engaged as well. Any suggestions as how to tackle this issue would be greatly appreciated!

I think that's a circuit-breaker switch. It could be that there's a short somewhere in the trim system.

Had a similar problem with Century 2000. Trim circuit board was fried.

@KASE I removed my entire KFC200 system and have all the parts at the house if you need stuff to hang test ETC let me know

My autopilot was a KAP 150, but when it flipped the trim breaker/switch it was due to a fault in the autopilot computer.

Hmmm…hope it’s not the autopilot computer. Just sent it back to MidContinent for a $1,500 repair. Thanks Andy! I may reach out to buy some parts and pieces from you

I Have occasionally just bumped the switch with my hand and it will switch ff the autopilot. I am not a mechanic.

I have had this happen to my k200 aswell, I just push it back in. It has usually happened on landing, which has been a bit unnerving seeing the trim rocker not work. If you find out what's wrong please post about it
