Brian2034 Posted May 24, 2024 Report Posted May 24, 2024 (edited) Just finished the landing gear install with new donuts/discs and wanted to post a picture of what we rigged up to compress the mount to install the donuts. It was simple and we didn’t have to load the wing up or have to use the aircraft for weight. Edited May 24, 2024 by Brian2034 Quote

Brian2034 Posted May 26, 2024 Author Report Posted May 26, 2024 1963 Yes, the SB is applicable We used a older set of instructions for the upgrade which used most of the original parts. Quote
Yetti Posted May 26, 2024 Report Posted May 26, 2024 did a similar approach with chain to the top truss and turn buckle to the back. Quote

Yes, Made it a simple install, didn’t have to load the wing of the plane and was a easy task and controllable. Made the frame from scrap that was lying around (ten minutes to fabricate) Quote
Shadrach Posted May 26, 2024 Report Posted May 26, 2024 That looks useful for the nose gear. For the mains, it just looks like extra work. I say this as someone who just installed new discs in 2021. 1 Quote
