Boo111492 Posted November 17, 2022 Report Posted November 17, 2022 Good Afternoon guys, I am trying to track down 41XL for some parts but I am not sure where the aircraft ended up. It was crashed awhile ago and then It went to auction and then vanished from there. If anyone knows where the aircraft has ended up so I can talk to the current owner and see if I can purchase them. Message me or leave a comment if you have any ideas or suggestions of companies or people to contact. Thanks! Quote
Parker_Woodruff Posted November 17, 2022 Report Posted November 17, 2022 Were you the owner when the insurance company sold it for salvage? If you technically owned the aircraft while they had possession until they sold it and they were leaving the bill of sale open until a buyer came along, you may be able to contact the adjuster for a copy of the final bill of sale for your file. In any case, you could ask the FAA for the records...I'm not sure if the FAA would provide you more up-to-date records than what's on their website, but it's worth asking them. Quote
Greg Ellis Posted November 17, 2022 Report Posted November 17, 2022 The FAA website has it listed under Guthrie Group INC. in North Carolina. That may be a place to start. Google can be your friend with this. If you Google Guthrie Group you can get the contact information. Unless you are the Guthrie Group then, of course you know this. Quote
carusoam Posted November 18, 2022 Report Posted November 18, 2022 This would be the Bravo that fell into the streets of Manville NJ… http://www.kathrynsreport.com/2022/04/mooney-m20mbravo-gx-n41xl-accident.html It probably got dragged up the hill to the airport while waiting upon further instructions… There is a fine FBO there that may know some answers… Boo, what kind of parts are you hoping to get from this once nice airplane? Best regards, -a- Quote

I was not the owner but I will try that route! It went up in a salvage auction so I’m trying to find it Quote
