M20J landing/taxi lights

Why doesn't the mooney service manual show how to remove and replace these lights? it only explains how to adjust them. page 12-98 only has this info? This is a owner allowed mx and I know I can figure it out with all the plates and screws but there are diagrams for everything else except that..anyone replace there wing lenses? we are putting in the whelen LED's.

Has anyone else used the Whelen Par 36 taxi & landing lights?

Good question. I replaced them many years ago and it was a pain in the butt. Like many repairs on a Mooney, long tin arms are a plus. Good luck.
