In many Mooneys the panel annunciators auto dim with nav lights. Mine does.

Stratux talks to both the 8" on the yoke and the 10" on the right side. It also lets them talk to each other taking any changes I put in the flight plan on the yoke and updating them on the rh tablet. Traffic and weather on both. Whoever sits in the right seat always likes looking at where we are, pulling up the synthetic vision, looking for the traffic the tablet is showing them, time remaining in the flight, etc... Less than $100 for the 8", I think it was around $150 for the 10", and I spent less than $150 for the parts to build the Stratux about 4 years ago.

I use a pad or two myself, but what I was referring to in my post when I said “430/530/650/750” was the panel mounted, IFR legal navigators.
