Jim Peace Posted October 2, 2020 Report Posted October 2, 2020 I have two G5's the GTN 650 and the GTX 345...... Is there any ENGLISH description of what is wrong? The person flying my plane today said that even though the message was displayed it showed all information as normal including the visual approach CDI stuff.... This is what the manual says:
alexz Posted October 2, 2020 Report Posted October 2, 2020 Sounds like several devices share CAN bus with the same CAN ID (aka can address) G5 units have ID pins to tell the system which G5 is in charge and which is the #2 unit. If they are both trying to talk on the network as the unit in charge, you have a network address conflict.

What would cause this to happen all of a sudden? besides being Garmin
