mooneySpain Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 Hello everyone, I want to replace the drain valves on the fuel tanks on my 67 mooney m20e "super 21". Can anyone confirm if these would fit= F-391-18? Thanks Quote
MooneyMitch Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 Hi MooneySpain. My parts manual for the 67E shows the F391-80 flush valve. With that said, many vintage Mooneys have been modified to accept the F391-53S valve. I would suggest identifying whether you do have the original flush valve or the modified version. If you do have the modified, the p/n is stamped on the bottom [visible] surface of the valve. I hope that helps you. Quote
drapo Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 There is a Mooney SB on the fuel drain valve. It is sold as a kit by LASAR at around $129 : http://www.mooney.com/index.php?keywordsearch=188a&option=com_servicepdf&modelid=&Itemid=46&sort=date&direction=DESC&model=all&categoryid=1 Quote
mooneySpain Posted August 25, 2011 Author Report Posted August 25, 2011 Thank you for your prompt replies. I found the main kit (M20-188-1) here: http://www.aircraftsupply.com/products.php?cat=122 But the SB refers to another kit (M20-188-2A) which refers to sealants needed. Any idea where can I find this? or any recommended alternative to the sealants included in the SB? Thanks in advance Quote
