WX-950 vs. WX-500

I have a WX-950.  From what I can find online the WX-500 is a 950 without the dedicated display.  Can the 950 be connected to display on the GTN-750?

No.  Only the wx500 outputs to displays. 

I like the little pluses or dots on the stormscope screen. I've only seen photos of the wx500 output but it doesn't seem as such a fine dot or small plus. Appears to be like lightning bolt icons which aren't pinpoint
