Even when climbing at 140 KIAS  and only 500 FPM, cylinder 5 in my 2006 Ovation keeps pushing 400 or even 405.  I have seen pictures of the pixie hole and was wondering if they really helped keep the cylinder temp lower, and if anyone new a place a pixie can find instructions on best way to do one!

Your mileage may vary and no guarantees. Fixed the 400F+ CHT on #5 for sure, and brought temps in line. I have other problems with my engine however, as you will see by looking at other posts of mine. But I don't have a temp problem.

ERF,

When you get the feeling you are not the first person to have a challenge....  there are a couple of threads, use the search function.  Pixie hole is all you will need to get a feel for the search capabilities of MS... :)

Best regards,
