It is a fuel filter. For years I bought the approved "air" filter for the PC vacuum system. I think I was paying close to $20 for each of the 3 filters. Well, one year, the box showed up and one of the labels was peeling. I continued to peel it to find "Fram G2" underneath. The ones they sell today are clear plastic, the ones in the 90s were opaque. 2
