There are a few discussion threads that seem to start the same way.

have you tried the search box?

i believe there is a resource for the Moritz gauges.  I just don't remember any of the details...

they were popular in Long Body Moonies of the new Millenium. Nice analog and digital display combinations.

best regards,

Need advise on where to repair Moritz Instruments.

Probably not what you want to hear, but the Moritz gauges fail one by one until you finally just re-do the panel and put in a replacement (JPI EDM 930, MVP50).

Very nice modern panel Lance!  I'm a huge proponent of putting the engine monitor on the pilot side.  The big longbody panel even allows enough room to put a big 930 or MVP-50 there!  I really like the layout of the 930 but had to go with the 900 for my J.

I agree that repair the Moritz gauges might be false economy if you're keeping the plane for a long time...might as well cry once and get a modern replacement with factory support.

Here is what I was told by Mooney for the same question:

The last I checked, Mooney has a few of these cluster gauges in stock but I would emphasize ‘few’.  They have not been manufactured for several years but a company in Florida called Radiant Power Corporation (941) 739-3200 offers limited repair for Moritz gauges.

It isn't hard to read between the lines of the Mooney response.  Not many left in the world, and limited repair capability.  At best you're just kicking the can down the road...which may be sufficient if you plan to sell the plane before the next failure.  If the plane is a long-term keeper it might be money better spent on an upgrade.

I would consider replacing them with a primary monitor and then recouping some of the money by selling the remaining working gauges and sensors 1 at a time to others who choose to keep repairing them.  Based on what others have posted about sensor prices and leadtimes there may be quite a bit of value the the parts.
