Shadrach Posted August 27, 2015 Report Posted August 27, 2015 Hey folks, I have a Champion ignition harness (made by Skytronics) with the 90 degree spark plug elbows. The harness is less than 10 years old and is in fine shape. Save for a cracked flange on one of the elbows (likely due to over torquing the "B" nut). Does anyone have an old champion or Skytronics harness they might sell for spare parts? Champion is now owned by slick and their solution (surprisingly) is to sell me a new harness. Skytronics sold its GA division to Kelly about 9 months ago and I have little hope of getting any satisfaction there. Under normal circumstances, I'd just buy a new harness and be done with it. However, with a baby on the way in mid Jan and me in the midst of starting my own business, I am watching every penny! Many Thanks! Quote
Guest Posted August 30, 2015 Report Posted August 30, 2015 Ross, I had the same situation with the harness in my Comanche. I called a few engine shops until I found one with an old harness and asked for a few old leads. Clarence Quote
N601RX Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 I have a few old harnesses laying around, are the ends the same across all manufactures? I have the Skytronics 90 deg boots also. They seemed to be the best value around before Hartzell purchased them. Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 I have what you need if you have RHM plugs. Quote
