67M20F Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 My baby is on her way home to me, and I have to put her outside for the time being. What covers do you guys use that tie down? I want full wing and canopy covers. Quote
skyking Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 I have a set of arctic covers. Cost about 1500 bucks new. for all 6 pieces. Quote
skyking Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 Arctic covers of manitoba link attached http://www.wingcovers.ca/ Quote
scottfromiowa Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 Bruce's Custom Covers makes a nice set of covers. Quote
Jeff_S Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 I've used Bruce's for two different planes now and will give them another vote. The covers are nice, tight fitting, and well made. And their customer service is excellent, generally refurbishing them for free. They have full wing covers as well. Quote
M016576 Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 bruce's custom covers, plus engine plugs (keeps all the birds out!) Quote
Seth Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Also get a tailcone cover. The birds love to nest in the tail. -Seth Quote
Barry Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Or stuff a few foam blocks into the openings in the tail ... and the cowl vents ... Quote
Royski Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 I am very happy with my canopy and tail covers from Ground Tech http://www.planecover.com/ Quote
