MHemperly Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 I think I'm going to take the 496xm out of the E and sell it. It has xm weather and is in near perfect shape. I also have all books/manuals/papers as well as the bag for it and all cables required to tie it in with a 430w, with and air gizmos panel mount and the yoke mount. Any thoughts on what you think is a fair price for all this. It's a year and a half old. Thanks Mike Quote
mikesalman Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 I found a few of them on Ebay. They rangeĀ from $660.00 up to $1,100.00 I hope this helps. Quote
n5756k Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 I just looked on ebay and the price range was from $1000.00-1495.00 With all your extras I would think 1300.00-1395.00 would be more than Fair. Quote
MHemperly Posted August 6, 2014 Author Report Posted August 6, 2014 Awesome! Thanks for the input guys. I didn't even think to check eBay. This helps a lot Mike Quote
N601RX Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 When looking on ebay, select the advanced search option and check show "Sold Items Only"Ā This will show you what others have actually sold for and give you a very good idea of what they are selling for.Ā You will see some that have a buy it now option for $1100, but you will also see that the ones that have actually sold are usually in the $600-800 range.Ā Be sure to list any recent database updates you have made or battery replacements. 1 Quote
MHemperly Posted August 6, 2014 Author Report Posted August 6, 2014 Thanks 1RX... $800 is pretty much my target price. We will see. I know it sold for 2k brand new but the reality of it it is, even being only a year and a half old there are so many gadgets that have hit the market To compete with it that it's just not worth much IMO. Thanks for the help and if you guys know anyone interested shoot me a message. Thanks, Mike Quote
larryb Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 I got $950 for mine on eBay 18 months ago. I like to set a low starting price with no reserve to stimulate lots of bidding. 1 Quote
