  5. I know it is a rabbit hole... I went there...but I though may be somebody has a brillant idea...
  6. I get a traffic alert (visual and audio) on the ground and in the air, because my GTN750 identifies my own transponder and ADSB output as traffic. I am getting used to it but it is annoying. There must be a way to fix this. Any suggestions or ideas? Thank you. I am attaching a picture of the GTN750 screen with the ghost traffic alert.
  7. This is for the O2 cannula. https://preciseflight.com/product-category/general-aviation-products/oxygen/masks-and-cannulas-oxygen/

  10. I have the same STC installed in my M20C. For all practical purposes it becomes a M20E. The AFM is included in the STC. If you don’t have send me an email and I can share it with you. Checklist I use a M20E checklist instead of the one I had previously. The starting procedure i use is the one for the M20E. Throttle slightly open, prop forward, mixture closed. Fuel pump on, once pressure is present, open mixture for 6 to 8 seconds. Close mixture turn off pump and crank. Once engine fires enrich mixture. Oscar Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. El Salvador has implemented a strong GA friendly policy... it has opened 4 airfields and is building a second big international airport. It has already has the largest aircraft maintenance facility in the Americas Aeroman (including US). American, Delta, Soutwest, Avianca, Volaris and United fly their planes to El Salvador to do their different checks. Given the lack of mechanics in the US this is a win win for everybody,
  12. Thank you very much. I invested a lot of effort in trying to make my M20 as nice and safe as possible. Given that I don't plan on selling my plane anytime soon... I don't know if it is a C or E. What I don know is that the plane is where I want it to be. For example: the upgrade from a O-360 to an IO-360 in a hot and relatively high density altitude environment has given me a nice safety margin. The vortex generators allow me to approach shorter runways and high density runways at a slower speed. The avionics upgrade... well I like toys... I painted my plane and it looks nice... Should I have bought a J instead of doing all these upgrades... yes, it would have made more sense from a financial and technical perspective. However, on the other hand I know this plane in an out. I have done maintance and I know all its issues... and I like it. The only thing I feel my plane lags behind is speed. I feel it is slow compared to other C and E. Oscar
  13. The Government of El Salvador has made aviation and general aviation in particular a policy priority. As part of that effort it has repopened and opened several airports. This is a video about a flight to one of these new airports. Hope you enjoy.
