I just had my 1982 M201J Interior redone and there are problems with the door assembly. Somebody jury rigged the mechanism and will have to be redone to factory standards. nicholasgavino@att.net

I have a 1982 M201J with cracks in the nose cowling and bottom cowling in the vicinity of the Landing Light. I had heard that this is caused by the lack of baffling around the engine mounts and cowling supports. Any suggestions

I have a KMA24 Audio panel, which came with the 1982 M201J with a GNS430 WAAS as a Nav/Com. I have been getting a RX indication on my #1 COM signifying a stuck mike. I have to cycle the com portion on the 430 to clear the problem plus there a quite a bit of clutter on the frequencies at times. I have a suspicion that it is the KMA24 Audio Panel. I am thinking of replacing it with a GMA350.

Does anyone know the nomenclature of the GE Peanut bulbs associated with the 1982 M201J instrument lighting system?

There is a bulb replacement as opposed to buying a Whelan retrofit. It is an A508-14 Halogen Bulb from Interlight for $9.95 or Air Parts or Sylvania. This will save you about $250

WHAT TYPE IN A 1982 201J

What size bulb for a 201J. Is it a 4509 or a 4522? How do you pull the retainer ring around the Bulb? Where can I get a new Retainer lens? How about the strobe light?

WHERE CAN I PURCHASE A LANDING LIGHT, BULBS, LUBRICANTS, BRAKE FLUID ERTC.

I am having a problem with the fuel pressure guage pegs out when turnjing o n the boost pump with the engine not running and stays pebbed when pump is turned ofdf. they changed the sensor modile but did not correct the problem. It is probably the guage. 82 M20iJ

Fellow Pilot's Landmark Aviation is ripping us off, fuel, hangar's, shadeports, tiedowns etc. An example of this is Landmark has the fuel concession at Pahoke, KPHK where the fuel is $6.15 for full service, at North County F45 it is $7.33 per gallon, which equates to $1.18 per gallon.. Fuel at Indiantown is $5.50 per gallon. Airnav tells the story. There are no facilities for self service which would cut the cost by some 50 cents per gallon. They are giving some of the tenants a discount, while lately, they only give newer owners a discount on weekends, this is not fair and equitable.Tie down cost have escellated from $56 per month three years ago to $70 last year to $100 this year. In today's economy, costs like this will cause the average pilot to cease and desist. We have to join forces and band together, en mass, to let our concerns be heard.
