Hope they are repaired and all is well.

I just do not agree that he is not a customer. He paid for the aircraft. The seats were part of that purchase. The stitching completed by one of Hector's vendors was NOT GOOD. Just because he didn't pay to have the seats completed doesn't mean he has no recourse, or that he should have to pay $150 bucks to make them right. Shipping, yes. Get them there and back. Labor and materials to repair a defective product that they produced? No. A quality/premium operation would stand behind their product. When defective...Make it right.

Thanks for the update. To long for a reply from a sub. Not acceptable. It is a 30-second phone call... Your expectations are not excessive based on the price of the seats. Hang in there. Don't go away. IF Aero Comfort is "cutting off communication" Persue other avenues.

There is a story about a leg that said that to an Apache driver over the radio...

I can maintain a conversation without headsets in my plane in cruise. 85dba is the OSHA action level. You can have 85dba constant for 8 hour work day. You can go above that level for periods of time, but must average below 85dba (total) for work day. If higher than 85dba for day you need to have annual testing (baseline) and note changes. If changes mandatory hearing protetion to attenuate the noise below 85dba. If you can carry on a conversation at normal levels at normal conversation distance you are below 85dba. In my plane in cruise you have to raise your voice...not yell..raise your voice. Somewhere between 86 and 90dba. If ABOVE 90dba for 8 hour aveerage MANDATORY hearing protection. When I cut the grass or fly it is WAY below 85dba. I would be more concerned with cranking your stereo in your car above 1/2 volume or driving a LOT with your windows down. Way over 90dba with windows down...THAT is why truckers lose hearing...NOT from diesel engine. That and listening to talk radio.

Nicknames vs. condescension... You state "I am comfortable with my position". Your position is admittedly left/progressive synonyms for Socialist. You balk at that word. Why? You state you have traveled to country's with Dictatorships and admit to all...but that word. Tell me why Paul is the word so "bad" to you when you espouse and support it's characteristics. You have even been called it by your friends and you blanche. Really Flyboy?! Why I disagree with you libs (especially those that cloak themselves as "Moderate") I would never throw you out of my airplane... I prefer nicknames. My thread so while you might not like them and feel they are not civil... I will take them versus statements like "Sorry you couldn't understand"... I think I understand crystal clear.

I wasn't yelling Paul. I used caps so readers could see my comments inserted within your text. Thanks for the reply clarifying my interpretation of what you said... Not worthy? Really, all you saw was my use of caps. You again seem really ashamed of American's, even comparing my use of caps to American's attempting to communicate. I would really have no desire to have a beer with you. I agree that all people are people. I just don't want to hang socially with some of them. So while you feel you are smacking me down with your prose and illustrations your throwing me a beer summit bone just isn't ringing sincere to me.

I would never fly in a plane solo with an animal unconfined.

I have a soft sided dog enclosure ($30 bucks at Farm&Fleet) that I load through the baggage door and expand on a towell covered back seat. I load the dog (55lb English Pointer) through the baggage door into the travel kennel and zip up. He sleeps for the whole flight. I wear headsets to hear ATC and listen to music. The noise in the plane is not as loud as my lawn mower. For the time/duration and noise level (under 100dba) using pet ear muffs is simply NOT necessary. If you fly eight hours a day for day upon day...Yes. Most don't. Much ado about nothing.

SO THAT IS IT PAUL AND TATTLETALE? YOU JUST DON'T GET THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A CONSUMPTION BASED TAX/PAY TO PLAY (FUEL TAX) AND AN ONEROUS-SOCIALISTIC TAX SPREAD OUT FOR ALL THE COMRADES TO SUPPORT-PROPERTY TAX FOR SCHOOLS? YOU STATE THAT I AM DRIVING ON SOCIALIST ROADS. HOW? IT IS A ROAD THAT ALL USERS FROM MOTORCYCLES TO SEMI'S HAVE PAID IN FUEL TAX TO SUPPORT THE CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE ROADS THAT I USE. THE 100 LOW LEAD FUEL TAX OR AIRPLANE TICKET TAXES ARE DESIGNED AS USER TAXES TO SUPPORT THE AVIATION INFRASTRUCTURE BOTH GENERAL AND COMMERCIAL AVIATION. HOW IS THAT SOCIALISTIC? THOSE THAT USE THE SYSTEM PAY. IF MY MOM NEVER FLIES, SHE DOESN'T. THEN YOU HAVE A MANDATE SAYING EVEN THOUGH YOU PURCHASED A PLANE BEFORE NEXT GEN, YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY THOUSANDS TO CONTINUE TO USE IT. IT IS LIKE MANDATING ELECTRIC CARS FOR ALL LOCAL COMMUTER USE. OH BOY, ECO LIB RETARDS GOT A LITTLE WOOD AT THE THOUGHT OF THAT.... WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU ATTACKING ME ON HERE TATTLE TALE? EDUCATE ME ON HOW MY USING THE ROADS IS SOCIALISM? HOW IS PAYING A PROPERTY TAX FOR THE SUPPORT OF SCHOOLS NOT SOCIALISM?

Hey David and others...I called Willmar (MN) and ordered my annual four rubber fuel cap gaskets for January annual. I asked about nose gear shims. She said she would call me back after checking. She rang me back ten minutes later and said there are six common nose gear shims. She said they are about $22 a piece. I asked if there was a common replacement and she said it varies...Offered to send two of each and write an open invoice without charging. She will invoice after I return what we do NOT use on the nose gear at annual to "tighten up" the nose gear. I already have the Laser Brass bushing replacement installed. I have noticed no "dartiness", but A&P said "A little play that we should address at next annual"...Pretty good of Willmar, I thought.
